Workplace first aiders must requalify every three years in order to keep their skills up to date and maintain their qualification. This course is designed for people to refresh the skills they previously learned on the first aid at work course and renew their first aid certificate for another three years. First aid at work certificate (valid for three years) Refresher course for existing workplace first aiders. Learners must have previously attended a first aid at work course. It is your responsibility to ensure you have previously held a full three day First Aid at Work certificate; on successful completion of this course any certificate issued without this prior training will be invalid.

Description

- People aged 16+ who have previously completed a first aid at work course and need to re-qualify in order to continue to act as a first aider for their workplace.
The HSE and HSE NI require at least 12 training contact hours for this course. Learners must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment, which is done by continuous observation and questioning during the course.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a first aid at work certificate which is valid for three years. For best practice, we support the HSE/HSE NI recommendation to complete an annual First Aid skills update.
